Fitting will be fabricated from DR18 C900 pipe and will have a Reiber style gasket.

 

All gasket x gasket and C900/905 spigot x Sewer gasket fittings will be made from C900/905, DR18 material which meets the requirements of type 1, grade 1, polyvinyl chloride as outlined In ASTM D1784. A type 1 grade 1 compound is characterized as having the highest requirements for mechanical properties and chemical resistance. This compound has a design stress rating of 4000 psi at 73 degrees F as tested by the Plastic Pipe Institute (PPI).

Bells shall be a gasketed joint conforming to ASTM D3139 with gaskets conforming to ASTM F477. Sewer spigot x C900/905 gasket fittings will be made from SDR35 or SDR26 Heavy Wall sewer material and shall meet or exceed ASTM D3034 specification for type PSM polyvinyl cholride PVC Sewer pipe and fittings.
