UNDERGROUND VALVE IDENTIFICATION MARKER PROGRAM

If you don't have a marker program, here are some reasons why you should.

1. Location area

2. Identification (City, County, State, etc.)

3. Size of Valve

4. Type of Valve (Resilant Wedge, Butterfly, etc.)

5. Type of Use (Potable Water, Reclaimed Water, Sewer, etc.)

6. Opening Instructions (Opens, Turns, etc.)

A.   With the growth factor in Florida and the overlapping jurisdictions occurring everywhere, what happens when you send your crew out to turn off or on a particular valve? Do they know which one is the right one? The marker tells them.

B.   What happens when they turn off the wrong valve? Who gets sued?

C.   If they find the right valve, how many turns does it take to open which way? If they don't know, you could wind up with a broken stem. Now you really have an expensive problem. One valve repair job could buy a whole lot of markers.

Now you can appreciate why so many cities, counties, etc. are turning to the Marker System. They save time, make your men more efficient and productive, not to mention the money saved.

"WAGCO MARKERS" will engrave anything you want on your markers including
numbering if you want to keep records on your valves.

If you can't get service, WAGCO didn't get your order.
