Double check detector assembly
The Ames 3000B is used to prevent backflow from fire protection line into main water supply in a low hazard condition and to detect unauthorized water usage or system leakage. It consists of two independently operating patented Cam-Checks, two UL and FM resilient wedge OSY gate valves and bypass assembly. The bypass assembly consists of a meter, a double check backflow preventer including shut-off valves, and tests cocks.
